About Model Calls

From time to time, I offer model calls—special opportunities to book a discounted or complimentary session in exchange for helping me bring a creative vision to life.

What is a Model Call?

A model call is not your typical photo session. Instead, it’s a collaboration. I use these sessions to experiment with new ideas, locations, styles, or techniques that I’m excited to add to my portfolio.

Because of that, model calls are more photographer concept-driven than client-directed.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

A unique, styled photography experience

Guidance on wardrobe, location, and overall look

A relaxed, creative environment

A selection of professionally edited images

Each model call is carefully planned, and I’ll provide details ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect.

WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR

Model calls are usually very specific. I may be looking for:

Certain age groups, couples, or families

Specific looks, styles, or aesthetics

Willingness to follow a creative vision

No modeling experience is necessary—just a great attitude and openness to the concept.

COST & REQUIREMENTS

Some model calls are discounted, while others may be fully complimentary depending on the project.

In exchange, participants agree to:

-Allow images to be used for portfolio, website, and social media

-Follow styling and session guidelines

-Arrive prepared and on time

-A signed model release is required.

-A $50 refundable retainer is required until the shoot is over to ensure participation. It will be refunded or put towards print credit if desired.

HOW TO APPLY

When a model call is open, I’ll share all the details on my social media and/or website.
